Kyocera Group KCCS Mobile Engineering selects JMA for 5G Nationwide Solutions in Japan

-US Based JMA’s virtualized technology to be used in lab verify 5G solutions-

KCCS Mobile Engineering Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Kim Hungbae, hereinafter KCME) will collaborate with JMA ( Headquarters: Syracuse, NY, USA President: Remo Ricci, hereinafter JMA) to provide 5G solutions in Japan.

Based on many years of network construction and system integration experience, KCME will utilize JMA's virtualization technology to contribute to the verification of 5G potential in Japan and the utilization of networks in various industrial fields. JMA has advanced technology in 5G millimeter-wave base stations and provides wireless network virtualization technology using relatively inexpensive off-the-shelf servers. KCME provides 5G solutions from base station installation / license application support to network construction and applications.
KCME is constructing a "5G lab" that enables demonstration experiments in an end-to-end 5G network environment, and is scheduled to start operation in January 2021.
