AsReader turns iPhones or iPod Touches into bar code readers for 1D or 2D bar codes and RFID just by fitting them with a jacket. This realizes a completely new handy terminal still able to use the functions of smart devices in work while heavily cutting the cost of implementing handy terminals.

Function 01 Simple bar code scanning function
Pressing the side scan button reads the bar code with the CCD camera. Continuous scanning and smart device screen readers are also supported. Also, input values are inputted into application via SDK (Free).
Note: the 2D type uses a pointer to narrow the target.
Function 02 Simple RFID scanning function
Clicking the read button in the app contactlessly reads the UHF-band IC tag.

Function 04 Magnetic charging
This is a contact charging system using Magconn, which is a contact charging system, are more simpler and efficient than existing contact charging system. The connector and the charging device are kept together by magnetism during charging, saving the need to make sure the system is working.

Uses powerful shock-resistant polyurethane rubber perfect for use on site.
It has superior impact resistance on all six sides even when dropped from a 1.5 meter height during manufacturer testing.
Note: the LCD display of the iPod Touch or iPhone may crack if dropped from the glass side.

Certified as compliant with IP52 for dust and water protection by the International Electrotechnical Commission.
Note: IP52 means that the device is dust protected and resistant to dripping water at a 15 degree angle.

Since bar codes first appeared in the 1970s, they have spread far and wide in multiple and diverse industries, such as retail, logistics, and manufacturing, contributing to corporate productivity.
