  Updating the large amount of data used by the radio wave propagation simulation tool was previously processed using Excel's VBA, but by changing the processing to Alteryx, the speed was significantly increased. In addition, we were able to significantly speed up the manual work required for report creation, such as cutting out polygons for improvement areas and specifying simulation ranges, by using Alteryx to automate them.

  We use Alteryx to perform data blending and various data processing on output files from internal systems and Excel files held by each department, create document files for meetings, create data for import into internal systems, and use Tableau Server. By creating workflows with Alteryx, such as updating data sources, you can automate and streamline in-house data processing and document creation. In particular, within KCME, we are streamlining human resources operations such as compiling profit figures, comparing attendance data with entry/exit logs, and confirming vacation status, and various accounting processes.

  A variety of spatial information is used when performing area marketing/trade area analysis, and by processing it with Alteryx, data can be created using an intuitive GUI without using complex SQL. In addition, Alteryx's high-speed on-memory processing enables efficient processing of large amounts of data. As a sample, we use post office point data and population data to calculate the population covered by each post office (see figure).
