KCME and Otari Village Agreed on Comprehensive Partnership to Revitalize the Local Community

KCCS Mobile Engineering Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Hyngbae Kim; hereinafter called "KCME,") and the government of Otari Village, Nagano Prefecture (Mayor: Yoshiaki Nakamura) signed a comprehensive partnership agreement, which aims to address various local issues and revitalize the local community.

EThis agreement aims to solve a wide range of local issues, such as improving disaster preparedness and
building a safe and healthy community for the elderly through close cooperation between Otari Village and
KCME.
KCME has been involved in the "Otari 54 Project" since 2016, which aims to build a "village which allows
everyone to continue to live in a hometown in their own way," and has made efforts including some
demonstrations. Under the comprehensive partnership agreement, both agreed to pursue using ICT technology to
solve regional issues.
Going forward, KCME will promote joint trials with Otari Village to address local issues, as well as
propose solutions to other local governments having similar problems.
KCME has offices in major cities across Japan and develops its business in a community-based manner.
It is working to revitalize local communities using the technological capabilities of the
Kyocera Group.

■Objectives
To swiftly and accurately respond to various local issues and to revitalize the local
community through close cooperation between Otari Village and KCME
■What to cooperate on
To achieve the objectives, we will work together on the following:
1. Matters related to regional revitalization
2. Matters related to improving disaster prevention awareness and disaster response
capabilities
3. Matters concerning building a safe community for the elderly
4. Matters concerning the use of ICT necessary for resolving regional issues
5. Other matters deemed necessary
