Basic Policy
KYOCERA Mirai Envision (Hereinafter “our company”) performs all business activities rooted in a management philosophy of “pursuing the spiritual and physical well-being of all employees, while contributing to the progress of humanity and society.” In order to fulfill the social responsibilities expected of our company, we shall perform information security management activities based on the following 5 items, which make up our basic policy on information security.
1.Manage and protect information assets
We shall manage the confidentiality, completeness, and availability of important information assets in our company’s possession, including personal information. We shall also classify and evaluate information assets, clarify the risks involved, and take sufficient countermeasures to deal with those risks to thoroughly protect the information assets.
2.Provide a management system and make continuous improvements
In order to manage the important information assets in our company’s possession, we shall prepare and keep each type of manual and regulations related to information security management.
We shall also prepare a management system related to information security, thoroughly inform and manage all employees in regards to the information security management system, and perform periodic revision, improvement, and advancement as needed in accordance with the PDCA cycle.
3.Provide information security education
For improved maintenance of the information security management system, we will provide periodic education for all employees to increase their awareness of information security management.
4.Deal with information security accidents
We shall consider all accidents and improper actions carried out by employees or a third party, whether intentional or not, and take the appropriate corrective measures to preempt, quickly counter, or prevent such occurrences from happening again.
5.Follow the law
All employees shall carry out business in accordance with all types of compliances and regulations related to information security.
