What is an LPWA module?

For the purpose of determining electricity and gas fees, meter readers traditionally visit consumers' homes monthly for manual readings. In our effort to modernize these visual inspections for a transition to a digital transformation (DX), we explored various methods. However, challenges such as communication costs and sensor device battery life emerged. To address these issues, we leveraged the capabilities of "Sigfox," a technology enabling broad area coverage. This allowed us to achieve energy savings through minimal data delivery and reduced device battery consumption. Furthermore, we streamlined operations, ensuring sensor device maintainability, and successfully embraced digital transformation.
